English Trifle
Serving.......well..... supposedly...... 8-10 people..... but......it's soo good it doesn't reach 8-10!!!! LOL~~~
This is a great dessert to make during summer when all the fruits are out! It's a very refreshing dessert, it will make you want to have one bite after another!! Make sure to let the custard chill before assembling.
It was soo good that I made 2 within the same week because they were all gone within 2 days!

Assemble
Pre-cut and drain your fruits, this makes sure no excess water gets into your dessert!!!! I had strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry Line the bottom of a bowl (ideally a clear glass bowl with straight sides) with cake. Sprinkle with Grand Marnier. Top with 1/3 of the fruit mixture. Top with half of the custard. Layer more cake on top. Sprinkle with Grand Marnier, top with 1/3 of the berries and the rest of the custard. If more cake remains, layer it on top, sprinkle with Grand Marnier and top with the rest of the berries |
